The House of Representatives has again directed the Inspector-General of Police to seal the Kogi State House of Assembly complex until the crisis rocking it is resolved.
The legislators have also declared the directive given by the Attorney General of the Federation to the IGP to re-open the Assembly premises as a contravention of the Nigerian Constitution
They have subsequently directed that the Justice Minister, Abubakar Danlami be reprimanded for standing against the law.
Danlami was advised to withdraw his advice to the IGP with immediate effect.
These resolutions were taken after the House adopted the four recommendations of its ad-hoc committee which investigated reasons behind the non compliance with its directive to the Police Chief to shut the Assembly complex in the wake of the crisis between two factions of the state legislators.
