Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has penned a two-year extension to his contract at French club- Lille, committing him to the club until 2019.
The contract offer is an indication that the 33-year-old will play an important part in new coach Frédéric Antonetti’s plans for a top-four push next season.
Antonetti took over from Herve Renard midway through the outgone season and immediately improved the club’s performances, helping them end the season in fifth position in the French league standings.
Enyeama was recently rated the 6th best goalkeeper in the world, a feat he attributes to hardwork and consistence.
