TVC E. Nigerian music video director and top shot, Clarence Peters was reportedly robbed of his production equipment worth $60,000 and other personal effects in Ghana.
According to reports, The prolific award-winning video director was shooting a video for Stonebwoy, Patoranking and VVIP’s Reggie Rockstone in Ghana when he was robbed.
Confirming the Incident, Reggie Rockstone said it was a sad and unfortunate occurrence adding that the act was a big disgrace on the nation..He also recounted how it had happened, saying the thief had been captured on CCTV.
“Clarence brought his own camera crew, who he has been working with for years and he stayed at Alisa Hotel during the video shoot,” he narrated. “The CCTV footage caught a young man; neatly dressed, he walked into the room and picked up the bag of equipment’s and walked out. I mean this is the creepiest thing with people still sleeping in the room. Now the footage is not too clear and we don’t know what happened in the room,”
$60,000 at current exchange rate is more than 17million naira. Clarence Peters, who is the founder and CEO of Capital hills Records, a record label that is ‘home’ to Chidinma, Tha Suspect, and Illblis and also the founder and CEO of Capital Dream Pictures.
According to Reggie, “VVIP, Stonebwoy, Clarence Peters and Patoranking are ready to offer a sum of ten thousand US dollars ($10,000) to whoever apprehends the thief.
