Hugh Masekela is set to perform at the White House.
The award winning composer will take the stage alongside an array of international performers for “Jazz at the White House,” an event to be hosted by President Barack Obama.
The televised event is in commemoration of International Jazz Day.
Other performers include Aretha Franklin, Marcus Miller, Dianne Reeves among others.
International Jazz Day highlights the power of jazz as a force for freedom and creativity and promotes intercultural dialogue through respect and understanding for people across the world.
