Nigerians have been advised to brace up for a new phase of the country’s image.
This is coming on the heels of the recent unveiling of the Nigeria Rebirth art project.
The unveiling is expected to not only change the perception others have about Nigerians, but will change the country’s entire image.
The initiative is expected to give Nigeria and Nigerians a new identity that will be characterized by a renewed definition of what Nigeria represents in Africa and the world over.
The idea was borne out of the zeal to correct the wrong impressions known about Nigeria globally.
The art project which is a painting, took a 100 days to complete by 37 artists and it represents the 36 states in Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory.
President Muhammadu Buhari will be the 38th artist after he signs his initials on the painting.
The new Nigerian art piece is said to be the biggest unity art work in Africa.
Moved by the change mantra of this present government, the need to change the negative notions to a positive one is what this initiative seeks to do.
The portrait will be used to showcase the new image of the country to 20 other countries around the world.
