TVC E – When the news that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi will marry a second wife broke, many did not know what prompted the action.

However, a cursory look into the official affairs of the foremost traditional ruler since his enthronement answers many of the questions.

It was reliably gathered that the Ooni’s decision to marry another wife was due to the irreconcilable differences he had with his first wife which eventually led to crash of the union.

Further investigations reveal that Ooni of Ife has always been on his own to all occasions and even on his official coronation on the 7th of December 2015, there was a noticeable distance between him and his wife Adebukunola Ogunwusi. Many even alleged that his union to his ex-wife was already so strained that both were no longer in talking terms as at when the Ooni as at when the Ooni ascended the throne.
