Counsel to the late Lowo Oyediran and his family, Yomi Aliu has called for a private prosecutor to be assigned to pursue a suit instituted against his spouse Yewande Oyediran.
Yewande, a legal practitioner at the Oyo State Department of Public Prosecution is was accused of killing her husband.

During her second appearance at the state high court in Ibadan, the atmosphere was tense as lawyers argued that the accused must remove her veil to reveal her true identity.
Yewande continues to enjoy certain privileges which is a source of concern to the prosecution. The development would not go down well with the aggrieved family members who lost their son and now seek justice.
Presiding judge, Justice Mukthar Abimbola adjourned the case to April the 18th for further hearing.

He urged the counsel in the suit to file their addresses for objection or otherwise to the Department of Public Prosecution to determine the issue of private prosecution for the accused person.
