Traditional rulers in Ogun state have received commendation for their supportive roles in maintaining peace and stability in different parts of the state.
Governor Ibikunle Amosun, gave the commendation in a goodwill message he sent to the presentation of certificate of office to the new Onijoun of Ijoun land, in Ogun West Senatorial district.
The governor, who congratulated the people of the town for having a well informed and notable lawmaker as their traditional ruler said Oba Abdurazak Adewusi will surely use his experience in promoting peace and unity in the land.
On his part, the Commissioner for local government and chieftancy affairs in the state, said the traditional ruler’s antecedent as a three-time member of the House of Representatives is an indication that the king will assist government in facilitating development in the area.
