TVC E, NEWS – Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has flagged off the rehabilitation of electrification project at Ibeju-Lekki and Akodo environs. 68 communities benefitted from the scheme.
These communities have been without power supply for more than five years.
Governor Ambode promised that a similar feat will be replicated in 30 communities in Badgary by September.
On his part, Energy commissioner, Wale Oluwo urged the residents to pay their bills so as to enjoy steady power supply.
He says the initiative is a Public-Private Partnership and it is a larger component of the government’s Light-Up Project.
