TVC E, NEWS – A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has fixed the trial of former chief of defence staff, Alex Badeh for March the 16th.
Justice Okon Abang adjourned the trial to Wednesday, giving Badeh’s lawyer two extra days to prepare and study the brief of his client.
The new counsel to Alex Badeh, Akin Olujimi had asked the court for an adjournment of the trial because he was new to the case.
But Rotimi Jacobs, counsel to the EFCC told the court that Badeh was trying to scuttle the trial.
Badeh is accused of criminal breach of trust and corruption to the tune of N3.9bn that’s 19.6million dollars.
