The House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Relations has frowned at discrepancies in the 2016 budget estimates brought before it by the Foreign Affairs Ministry and its agencies.
At a budget defence meeting, the Committee chairman, Nnena Elendu-Ukeje says it is important that Ministries, Departments and agencies of government are meticulous in their records.
The Ministry on its part laments that the one hundred and nineteen missions and five agencies under its purview are poorly funded.
The Minister says the challenge of insufficient funding faced by Nigerian diplomats needs to be addressed urgently.
