Winners Chapel denies Oyedepo’s retirement

David Oyedepo

TVCE [OTA] – The Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, has described as figment of imagination of the writer, the rumours that the founder of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo, was set to retire from active service.

Reacting to the Oydepo’s purported retirement, Church’s Mandate Secretary, Pastor Yemi Nathaniel, said any such reports were not true.

According to Nathaniel, “Every apostolic ministry like ours is a priestly commission and because priesthood is for a lifetime, his (Oyedepo) presidency and priesthood is for a lifetime.“Moses, Joshua, Aaron ministered and his son also did; Elijah, Elisha and Paul, among others. Therefore any online publication purporting his retirement is false, Nathaniel stated.
