TVC E, SPORTS – After failing to meet his valuation, German Bundesliga side, Werder Bremen, has ended the quest to sign Lazio midfielder, Eddy Onazi.
Report had said the Nigeria international will cost eight million euros, a fee considered too high by the Weserstadion outfit.
The Bundesliga side had also taken note that Onazi lacks match practice, having played only six games this season, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The midfielder has been linked with possible moves to Newcastle United and Swansea City in this transfer window, but the English clubs have not firmed up their interest by presenting official bids to Lazio.
