The House of Representatives has mandated the Central Bank to immediately ensure full implementation of zero COT by commercial banks.
The apex bank is also to see that the banks, within the next thirty days, refund all COT charges so far deducted this year.
The House Committee on Banking is to ensure compliance and report to the House within four weeks.
The resolutions are on the strength of a motion by Representative Edward Pwajok.
