TVC E, SPORTS – The Nigeria Badminton Federation has slammed a five year suspension on its national head coach – Mohammed Bako.
Bako was relieved from his post following Nigeria’s poor performances in major international badminton competitions last year, including the All Africa games.
Nigeria Badminton officials say Bako ignored the advise of medical experts and consistently featured a group of injured players in competitions, a situation which resulted to Nigeria crashing out early at major tournaments.
The Nigerian Badminton federation are preparing to make a replacement soon.
