TVC E, POLITICS -The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned PDP spokesman Olisa Metuh at the High Court in Abuja in handcuffs.
Metuh who had been granted bail in the sum of N400 million and 2 sureties was re-arraigned for destruction of evidence in his criminal case.
Metuh allegedly destroyed the statement he wrote to EFCC operatives during investigation.
Metuh, who is also on trial for his alleged involvement in the diversion of arms procurement funds, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge filed against him on Thursday.
The PDP spokesman is still in prison following his inability to perfect his bail conditions.
The presiding judge in the fresh case, Justice Ishaq Bello, adjourned the matter till next Monday.
