The Home-Based Super Eagles defeated the Elephants of Ivory Coast one-nil in South Africa in their last warm up match in preparation for the 2016 African Nations Championship holding in Rwanda.
Ifeanyi Matthew scored the only goal of the match just before the half time in the keenly contested game.
Both teams are preparing for the 2016 African Nations championship scheduled for Kigali, Rwanda.
In an earlier friendly game last week, the Eagles were forced to a 1-1 draw by the Palancas Negras of Angola and trounced South African League side, AmaTuks three-nil.
The Nigerian team will leave South Africa on Friday for the African Championship which begins in Rwanda this weekend.
