FG reaffirms commitment in local Production

TVCE [ILORIN] – Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbe has reiterated the federal government’s commitment to bring back the lost glory of agriculture production.

But Ogbe said government will only import what they cannot produce not what they can produce in order to encourage local production.

The Agriculture minister made the assertion during the flag ceremony of agricultural equipment hiring programme which was organised by National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM)  in Ilorin, Kwara State

He noted that,the present challenges country is facing was because we have rest our life being in oil and gas sector, which unfortunately wreck our economy

Audu advised  Nigerians to go back to what they know best  to do which is Agriculture not oil and gas

Corroborating the minister’s view, the Kwara State Governor  Abdulfatah Ahmed  also charge Nigerians to embark on mechanize farming which  is the only way  to solve the economy downfall  we are facing in Nigerians presently.

The governor stressed that, unemployment crisis can be solved if youth can go back to farm and produce what beneficial to government and man kinds
