AUN launches enhancement project for vulnerable children

TVC E, NEWS –  The American University of Nigeria(AUN) has launched Technology Enhanced Learning for All (TELA) to train more than 22,000 vulnerable children particular orphans, IDP within the age bracket of 6-17 years. in Adamawa State, North East Nigeria.

The project sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is to makes extensive use of radio and to provide opportunities for continuous learning for the vulnerable children

USAID officials claimed that USD 801,000 has been earmarked for the pillot skill which is to last for the next six months in the first instance and if succeeded will be replicated in all states of the Federation.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Governor Jibrilla Bindow who spoke at the launching called for investment on the Youth development by the nation’s stakeholders.

Some of the Alimajari and their teachers who participated in the launching commended the institution for the good gesture.
