Young man arrested for killing brother over N500

In Abia state, an Abia state polytechnic student, Chisom has stabbed his brother, Joseph to death as they fought over N500.

According to sources, Chisom went to their mother’s shop yesterday to ask Joseph for N500, but Joseph told him to meet their mother for it. This made Chisom angry and he left the shop and went home. When Joseph returned home at night, Chisom blocked the house entrance and refused him from entering the house. A fight ensued and Chisom brought out a knife with which he stabbed Joseph to death.

Chisom was apprehended by residents the following morning and was later handed over to the police.
