How Yahoo boys expose Nigerian artiste to the International market – Dammy Krane

Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane, has explained that Yahoo boys are African music promoters.

Barely two weeks after Naira Marley made a controversial comment on social media where he came to the defense of Internet fraudsters, Dammy Krane has also shared his opinion about Yahoo boys and their contribution to the music industry.

According to Dammy Krane , these Nigerian fraudsters spend a lot of money at clubs in foreign countries and they make sure the DJ’s play Nigerian music, promoting it in the process.

Speaking further, the singer explained in a subsequent post that Yahoo boys will ask DJ’s to play a particular African song after buying 20 or 30 drinks. If a big artiste such as Drake happens to be in the club, he would search for the song and become aware of the artiste – hence exposing Nigerian artiste to the international market.
