TVC E, POLITICS – The total figure of the first budget submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 22nd of December, 2015 to the federal lawmakers is N6.08trn.
Mr Leo Ogor, the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives has said the sum total of the adjusted 2016 Appropriation Act submitted to the National Assembly is N6.3tn and not N6.07tn as indicated by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The figure dropped to N6.07trn after the President corrected the estimates last week and Ogor still argued that the figure is wrong.
Before he was overruled, Gbajabiamila observed that whenever the 1999 Constitution was in conflict with any other law, the former took prominence.
He stated that the requirement of the constitution was that Buhari should present the Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly, which he had already done.
What happened to the balance?
