Asante McGee, one of the women claiming to have been R. Kelly’s sex slave on the Lifetime docu-series Surviving R. Kelly, has challenged the singer to undergo a live lie detector test on national TV to prove he’s innocent as he claims.
R. Kelly has been all over headlines these past few days following Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly docu-series. Many of R. Kelly’s alleged sexual abuse victims went on camera to tell their stories.
Asante McGee speaking with TMZ, the former alleged victim of R. Kelly’s sex cult said that these victims all have their own individual and unique stories from dealing with R. Kelly and it’s time that their voices are heard.
“I think it would take for people to stop supporting him and to realize what he’s doing and hold him accountable for his actions,” McGree said. “At the end of the day, whatever’s being said is the truth. These girls are unable to contact their family and if anyone has seen the docu-series has seen each one of had our own story and have had our own experience with R. Kelly.”
Kellz’ might be maintaining his innocence right now, but McGee said that if he really wants to prove he isn’t guilty of anything, he should get on live television and take a lie detector test.
Advertisement“If you want to prove your innocence and say we’re all lying — which I know we’re not — I challenge him to a lie detector test live,” she said. “Not one that we can’t see where we can’t see the results.”
