DELSU lecturer escapes from kidnappers den

Delta State University senior lecturer, Dr. Boniface who’s an asthmatic patient was abducted, forced into his car and whisked away by the hoodlums who later contacted the family members, requesting a ransom fee of N20 million.

The lecturer abducted on Saturday night, the 3rd of February, reunited with his family after he was able to escaped from the den of his abductors.

According to a Facebook user who shared pictures of his return, wrote: “Kidnapped DELSU lecturer. Dr Boniface Anyanwu of the Department of Theatre Arts escaped from kidnappers den”

Following a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of ASUU-DELSU, Dr. Boniface Chukwuma Anyanwu was abducted with Mr. Nnamdi Nwachukwu, son of Austin Nwachukwu, a professor of Human Kinetics and Health Education.

However, the whereabout of Mr. Nnamdi is still unknown.
