Mavin artiste, Reekado banks’ manager, Temi has presumably been detained at the kirirkiri prison for alleged fraud. Earlier last week it was reported that the singer and his brother, who also happened to be his manager, were accused of performance fraud by media personality Uwa Idahosa.
Reports also have it that Idahosa had contracted the artiste, through his management, to perform at a wedding on the 23rd of December 2017, but he failed to show up leaving Idahosa no choice but to demand for a refund of the N2 million paid. Upon this Reekado and his management refused saying that they can only refund 800,000 naira because they incurred logistics cost.
According to reports, Idahosa claimed that Reekado banks had failed to show up to several police invitations sent to him, and this led to the arrest of his manager in court, who will be remanded in prison until 19th February 2018, the next court date.
