A few days ago, we reported that Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello was listed among the casts for “Avengers: Infinity War”.
On Saturday, January 13, 2017, Akindele’s name no longer appeared on the Marvel Comics movie’s IMDb page. Avengers: Infinity War also does not appear on the actress’ IMDb page as well.
This sudden development is coming a few days after the Internet went wild when Nigerians ‘discovered’ that the Nollywood actress was listed among the full cast of the movie on IMDb.
Since the news broke out on Wednesday 10th, Funke Akindele did not confirm or deny the story on any of her social media platforms.
The actress was slated to play the role of Dora Milaje, a bodyguard of Black Panther. This was going to be the first time a Nigerian-based actor will feature in a Hollywood comic superhero movie.
