Nigerian Dancehall singer, Burna Boy will be arraigned in court today, December 18th following allegations of his involvement in Mr 2kay’s robbery attack.
The Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, in November, declared Burna Boy ‘wanted’ after his manager,Joe Kantiock, and two of the robbery suspects were paraded.
One of the papraded suspect had confessed that the singer ordered and paid money for the attack to be carried out.
Burna Boy who has been absent, finally honoured the police invitation, last Friday, December 15th. He was interrogated and then detained and will be arraigned in court this morning.
The Lagos Police Commissioner has assured,
“There would be no sacred cows. This command is poised to ensure that residents can feel safe wherever they are and carry out their businesses without fear or favour. Anyone therefore found to be involved in this case would be made to face the law to clear his or her name or face prosecution.”
