TVCE (MUSIC) – As part of activities to mark his ten years on stage, popular Sanko singer, Timaya is set to drop a new single titled ‘I like The Way’.
Timaya, appreciating his fans for their support, stated: “Starting the year with this one, drops on Friday 15th of January. Anticipate 2016- 10 years in the game… standing taller and stronger… (I know the boy is a stupid idiot, an asshole, a controversial bastard) but salute to all my fans all over the world for your love and support.”
Timaya, whose real name is Enetimi Alfred Odon, was born on 29 November 1977. The Nigerian singer and songwriter founded the South South hip hop group, Dem Mama Soldiers.
His solo career began in 2006 with the release of Dem Mama, which also appeared on his debut album True Story, released the following year. His second album Gift and Grace was released in 2008.
