Former Chelsea star Frank Lampard has explained that Belgian international Eden Hazard is capable of reaching the same football level with Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.
Hazard has just recuperated from the injury he suffered in June 2017, and featured for Chelsea in their emphatic victory over Qarabag FK in their Champions League match on September 12.
Last season, Eden Hazard was in superb form for the Blues as his performances really helped Antonio Conte’s men to win the Premier League title.
Lampard, who is Chelsea’s all-time record goalscorer, believes the 26-year-old has the ‘magic’ to reach a similar level to modern greats Messi and Ronaldo. ‘’I feel that he’ll be involved at the weekend and going forward.
He’s the magic in the Chelsea team. ‘If Eden Hazard’s on his game he’s got the magic that we talk about with the Messi’s and Ronaldo’s he can get towards that level and even beyond,” Lampard stated.
