Benue: Terry G declares interest for both deputy and State Governorship position

Singer Terry G has declared his interest to run for both deputy and governorship position in Benue state. Seems like more Nigerian entertainers are beginning to hop onto the political train, if this latest information is anything to go by. In the past elections we have seen entertainers like Desmond Elliot, Kate Henshaw, Kanayo .O. Kanayo, and singer 9ice go down the political road. However, in 2017, more entertainers are beginning to indicate interest as well. Just like Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and musician Kcee indicated their interest to run for the governorship position in Anambra state recently, musician Terry G has just revealed his plans.

Born, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, the Akpako master who hails from Benue state says he wants to become either the governor and deputy governor of the state. Declaring his intentions via his Instagram page, he wrote: “MY PEOPLE, THE TIME IS NOW. POWER BELONGS TO THE YOUTHS, SAY NO TO OLD CARGO…VOTE TERRY G FOR GOVERNOR/DEPUTY OF BENUE STATE, I WILL MAKE YOU PROUD..WHEN I SAY LEGALIZE YOU SAY GINJAH.”
