COSON dismisses MCSN’s claim on collective management organisation

Touted as the ‘sole collective management organization’ in the country, COSON Chairman, Tony Okoroji disputes the alleged order of the Attorney-General of the Federation that Musical Copyright Society of Nigeria Ltd (MCSN) be approved as another collecting society.

COSON is demanding for the immediate withdrawal of any letter suggesting that MCSN) has been approved to collect royalties on behalf of musicians and other music industry key-players.
