Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria are urging President Muhammadu Buhari to uphold the nation’s court order and release their leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky unconditionally.
They say their hope in the nation’s constitution is being frustrated by the behaviour of the law enforcement agents in the country.
Some of them who spoke to TVC News at a peaceful procession in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, said their confidence in the court of law is shaky due to the continued incarceration of their leader by security agents.
The procession which took place on major streets in the metropolis turned to a forum for appealing to the Federal Government to save the situation gradually turning lawless.
