One dead, seven vigilante members hospitalised as Boko Haram attack Yobe village

Boko Haram insurgents have ambushed a vigilante group, killing one person and injuring seven others in Wulle village, Yobe state.

The injured are currently receiving treatment.

Speaking with TVC NEWS Yobe Correspondent after the incident, the Commander of the vigilante group Mallam Awana said his men will not be cowered into retreating from another onslaught against the terrorists, but will urge them to do more.

Wulle village is located some ten kilometers east of Buniyadi, the headquarters of Gujba Local Government Area south of Damaturu the Yobe state capital.
