Oyo state Assembly announces 57 LG Caretaker nominees

Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Michael  Adeyemo has read the names of 28 candidates as Caretaker CouncilLeaders and 29 Local  Council Development Chairmen before the house.

This development is coming  despite a rash of protests over the exercise.

The   Speaker has referred the list to the house committee on local government and chieftaincy matters for  action.
