Bush Fire razes Shops in Ekiti

TVCE [ADO-EKITI] – No fewer than 12 shops have been razed down by fire at a shopping complex in Ado Ekiti destroying goods worth millions of naira.

Eyewitness account told TVC News that a bush fire near Ile Abiye Hospital on Ilawe Road in the state capital, went out of control and spread to a nearby shopping complex.

They said fire fighters and officials of the National Emergency Management Agency responded swiftly to their distress call.

TVC News Correspondent, Akin Ogunmola reports that shops where goods were burnt include a barbing salon, gift shops; livestock feeds shops and a business centre.
