Heavy rains render families homeless in Ado-Ekiti

The first rain of the year in Ado-Ekiti has rendered many families homeless and put parts of the capital city in darkness.
The strong wind which accompanied the rainfall blew off many roof tops and felled several electric poles.

The storm also left on its trail vandalised public institutions including primary schools.

Victims of the devastating early rain are counting their losses in millions of naira but no life was lost during the rainstorm.
