Akeredolu urged to appoint credible people

A former lecturer at the Adekunle Ajasin University (AAU) Akungba-Akoko and public Affairs commentator, Dr Theo Adebowale has advised the Ondo state governor-elect, Rotimi Akeredolu to appoint credible people into his government.

Adebowale said the calibre of people in key positions of government would determine the success or failure of the administration to be inaugurated on Friday.

Speaking on a private radio station ‘Adaba Fm’ a current affairs programme, the don said only those with honours who believed in Nigeria and Ondo state project would bring desired progress to the state.

Besides, Adebowale charged the citizenry not to expect too much from the in-coming administration in the next few months because of the present economic situation in the country.

He said “we must support the in-coming government, we must agree with the present situation, it was the agreement of people that broke the biblical wall of Jericho”

The don urged Akeredolu’s administration to work the economy with the people, stressing that when it is opened up, there will be lots of opportunities.
