Usher And Future donate to United Negro College Fund

R&B superstar Usher and his fellow artists Future, Jeezy and Tyrese Gibson have each made generous donations of $25,000 (£20,140) to the United Negro College Fund.

Rappers Future and Jeezy were among the guests who attended the 33rd Annual The UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball Atlanta on Saturday (17Dec16), where they pledged the cash to benefit young African-American students pursuing a college education.

According to AllHipHop.com, Usher and singer/actor Tyrese also matched the donations to give the cause a boost.

In total, over $1.5 million (£1.2 million) was raised at the event, which took place at the Atlanta Marquis Marriott hotel in Georgia.
