Electricity distributors call for more support from consumers

Electricity distribution companies have decried the spate of vandalism of electrical equipment in the country.

Chief executive officer of Eko electricity in a chat with news men explained that consumers and other relevant parties need to come together to protect their facilities, this he believes will help manage the little supply from the grid.

He added that there has been series of meetings with security operatives on the issue and a more drastic step will be taken in a short while.
