‘The Wound’ to screen at 2017 Sundance Film Festival

A South African drama “The Wound” has been announced as one of the lineup of films to screen at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

Directed by John Trengove, it tells the story of Xolani, a lonely factory worker who travels to the rural mountains with the men of his community to initiate a group of teenage boys into manhood.

The drama will compete in the World Cinema Dramatic Section.
