Egypt ‘cancel’ January friendly with Super Eagles

The Egypt Football Association has cancelled its proposed friendly match with the Super Eagles in January, following alleged disagreement with the Nigeria Football Federation on match expenses.

The Egypt FA is not willing to bear all the expenses for the game as was demanded by the NFF and has even gone ahead to fix another game with Tunisia about the same time.

The friendly between Egypt and Nigeria was scheduled to hold in Dubai on January the 9th to prepare the Pharaohs for the AFCON in Gabon.
