Niger Tornadoes retain Abubakar Bala as coach

Coach Abubakar Bala will manage Niger Tornadoes on a permanent basis in the forthcoming 2016-2017 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Bala took over at Tornadoes on an interim basis after the club parted ways with coach Abdullahi Usman Biffo.

The management of the club met over the weekend and agreed to retain Bala following his performance last season.

The coach guided Tornadoes to 11th spot with 49 points.
