As residents of Ogun State prepare for the local government election slated for October the 8th, the State Commissioner for Police, Ahmed Iliyasu has read the riot act to members and supporters of
political parties.
The commissioner who led a meeting of other security agents and party representatives says the police will provide adequate security for lives and properties before, during and after the vote.
The Commissioner added that acts such as thuggery, hooliganism and snatching of ballot boxes will not be treated with kid gloves.
