Godwin Obaseki of the All Progressives Congress has won Wednesday’s governorship election held in Edo state.
To emerge winner, Mr. Obaseki polled a total of 319, 483, winning the highest number of votes in all the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the Peoples Democratic Party, who is his closest challenger, came second, polling 253, 173 .
