TVC E. Toni Braxton was honored as a true headliner at the BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta on Thursday night.
The singer and songwriter showed up at the event in a stunning sheer white frock that fell to the floor.
The 48-year-old’s dress was sleeveless and featured a high collar with embroidered detailing and a nude underslip preserving her modesty.
Braxton wore her cropped hair gelled up for a spiky look and had a black nail polish manicure.
The Unbreak My Heart hitmaker was the honoree of the evening as the recipient of BMI’s President Award.
‘As one of the top-selling R&B artists of all time, combined with her philanthropic efforts, I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition,’ BMI Vice President of Writer/Publisher Relations Catherine Brewton said in announcing her selection.
