TVC E. According to reports making the rounds ‘local rapper’, Reminisce has fired his entire management (Edge Entertainment) on Monday, August the 22nd.
The shocking development happened just a week before he announced that he was going to release his fourth studio album, El-Hadj and he also wrote;
The Asamalekun crooner and his now-former manager, Ibrahim Okulaja led Edge Entertainment go a long way both have worked together for over 10 years.
The breakdown in the relationship is a typical factor in the Nigerian entertainment industry as recently, project fame season 6 runner up, immaculate also disclosed that she is set to leave Vivace Records managed by Tee- Y Mix
According to Ibrahim Okulaja, he said “I won’t say there are no issues, because like in every business, there are disagreements on directions, and some eventually get solved while some don’t.”
As you know, there are a lot of artistes I have invested heavily in and didn’t get returns.’
Also, Okulaja cleared the air on whether Reminisce was signed to Edge Records, saying the rapper has his own independent label LRR Records and was only signed to Edge Entertainment who was responsible for his management.
Recall that Ibrahim also manages artists Sojay and Oladips who are signed to LRR Records, which implies that they also are no longer under the management of Edge Records/ Entertainment.
Reminisce has also released the track- list of his forthcoming album El Hadj.
The 16 track album features Olamide, Solidstar, 9ice and 2baba among others.
The album is set to be released on August the 29th, 2016.
