Lily Allen lures Burna Boy out of impromptu retirement

TVC E. Burna Boy surprised many of his fans yesterday, Wednesday the 17th, when he revealed he is flirting with the idea of retiring from music.

While many wondered and queried the singer on his ‘too early’ retirement announcement, he was quick to retract the statement, notably after being messaged by award-winning British singer, Lily Allen

Burna, who is preparing for his concert in the UK, tweeted, ‘Thinking of quitting music for real after d 1st of October maybe.’

He seemed to allay his fans’ concerns about retiring few hours later though, tweeting, ‘I wud quit if it was just me but I got bruddas that’s Died for this n I got pple who took their undying love for me n my music to d grave.’

Apparently, Burna and Lily Allen have a collaboration in the works, and the concerned British singer who caught wind of Don Gorgon’s tweets, wrote at him: ‘@burnaboy that’s a shame . I was gonna finish our song next week.’
