Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart unite for new TV show

TVC E. US rap veteran Snoop Dogg is to team up with lifestyle guru and homemaker Martha Stewart for a new television program with the working title Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party.

The upcoming project will be a unscripted series that sees the two polar opposites teaming up each week to host a dinner party with celebrity guests, according to Variety.

“At our dinner party, we will exemplify America’s fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity,” Stewart said.

Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way.”

The 44-year-old rapper added: “My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!”

This project will not be the first time the pair collaborate together, the Drop it like it’s hot rapper appeared as a guest on Stewart’s talk show, and also appeared on her Christmas Cookies special to make weedless brownies and do some freestyling about the absence of any green ingredients in his and Stewart’s baking.

More recently, the pair appeared on last year’s Comedy Central roast of Justin Bieber.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, two of pop culture’s biggest icons,” VH1 and Logo president Chris McCarthy.

“Good parties are filled with fun, food and unexpected guests. Wait until you see what happens at Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party; it will be unforgettable.”
