TVC E. Jodie Marsh an English media personality, bodybuilder and occasional glamour model has spoken out on the topic of marriage, saying women “need to be empowered”.
The model, who split from her husband James Placido earlier this year, vowed never to marry again as she opened up on Twitter.
Hitting back at a publication which asked women if their husbands should know how much they spend on beauty products, Jodie didn’t hold back.
“Quite frankly, unless he’s paying for it then it’s none of his god damn business & his opinion is irrelevant….,” the fitness guru wrote.
She added: “…. And if your husband IS paying for it then yes he has a right to know what you’re spending but you need more independence…
“We are not living in the dark ages any more. Women need to be empowered, but not kept in a cupboard & controlled by HIS money….”
And the blonde beauty didn’t stop there, saying she’s much happier alone than married.
“Rather: I DARE my man to question how much of my own money I spend on ME! He can take a running jump… Jesus these papers set us back!!”
Replying to a fan that branded the headline “sexist”, Jodie said: “I know!! I’ll never marry again that’s for sure – so don’t assume we all WANT to be married either. I’m happy alone!”
