Stella Monye honours late Prince Rogers with Old “Schull” show

Veteran musician Stella Monye popularly known as the Samba queen recently celebrated late American musician Prince Rogers Nelson with an old school party in Lagos.

The event was attended by notable Nigerian musicians and lovers of old school music.

Speaking with newsmen, Stella says she’s honoring the late prince because of his passion for championing the business of women in entertainment industry through his career.

Reggae musician Ras Kimono commended the event, while calling on female singers to improve on their lyrics so it can stand the test of time

The samba queen also introduced her NGO which she says is meant to discover and nurture female singers raised from the schools, churches, night club and the general public
